The reason why hearing aids should be worn as early as possible is that, for children, their age is the period of learning language, especially for children before the age of 7, the plasticity of language development in this period is very high. For children, learning a language only takes three to six months to succeed, but adults Often can not do this degree, to put it bluntly is that the plasticity of children is higher than that of adults.

If the children can’t hear and hear the outside voice at this time, there is a big obstacle for them to learn the language. If the hearing impaired children don’t wear hearing aids, you will find that they can’t speak clearly when they grow up, which is caused by the phenomenon that they didn’t learn the language well.

Of course, it doesn’t mean that you can learn the language immediately after wearing hearing aids. Hearing impaired children still need to do more language training on weekdays. When they are at home, parents can also do more listening training for their children, find a quiet environment, let their children distinguish the sound and do it several times, and their hearing will be better and better.
